Booking & Pricing
👉 How much does a tattoo cost in Sofia?
Tattoo prices depend on the size, placement, level of detail, and the tattoo artist you choose. Flash tattoos usually cost less than large custom projects, while highly detailed or big scale designs may require multiple sessions.
Our studio’s minimum price is currently €60.
The best way to get an accurate quote is to send us your idea, size, and placement.
👉 Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit is deducted from the final price of your tattoo.
👉 Do you accept walk-in tattoos?
Depending on the day and which tattoo artists are available, if any. We recommend contacting us in advance to check availability and avoid disappointment.
👉 Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes. If you give enough notice (at least 48h), your deposit can usually be transferred to a new appointment. Last-minute cancellations may require a new deposit.
👉 How much does a sleeve tattoo cost in Sofia?
It depends on the style, complexity of the design, chosen artist, and technique. Contact us for a free consultation and we might be able to give you a price estimate.

👉 How do I choose the right tattoo artist?
Every tattoo artist has their own style and strengths. At White Rabbit Tattoo Studio Sofia, we have artists specialising in blackwork, illustrative tattoos, colour work, ornamental designs, minimalist tattoos, fineline and more.

👉 Can I bring my own design?
Yes, reference images are always helpful. Your artist will usually adapt the design to work better as a tattoo and suit your body placement.
👉 Can I see my custom design in advance?
Generally, no. Our tattooists tend to show custom designs in person, on the day of the appointment. The design can be adjusted on the spot if needed, until both you and the artist are happy with it.
👉 Do you copy tattoos from other artists?
No. We respect the work of other tattoo artists and do not make direct copies. We can create a custom design inspired by references while making it unique to you.
👉 Can I get a custom tattoo?
Definitely! Most tattoos created at White Rabbit Tattoo Studio are custom-made for the client. Our artists can develop your idea into a unique design that fits your style and placement.
👉 Can I get a flash tattoo?
Absolutely! Our artists have hundreds of original flash designs that are created to be tattooed only once and never repeated, ensuring your tattoo remains unique.
👉 Can I get a handpoke tattoo?

Before Your Tattoo
👉 Should I eat before getting tattooed?
Yes. Eating before your appointment helps maintain stable blood sugar levels and makes the experience more comfortable, especially during longer sessions.
👉 Can I drink alcohol before getting a tattoo?
No. Alcohol can thin the blood and increase bleeding during the tattoo process, which could affect the final result. We recommend avoiding alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
👉 Can I get tattooed if I’m sick?
We highly recommend rescheduling if you are unwell. Your body heals better when healthy, and coming sick may also put other clients and artists at risk.
👉 What should I wear to my tattoo appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area. Avoid tight clothing that may rub against a fresh tattoo afterwards. We also recommend wearing dark clothing in case of stencil/ink stains.
During Your Appointment
👉 How painful is getting a tattoo?
Pain levels vary depending on placement, tattoo size, and individual tolerance. Some areas are more sensitive than others, but most people find the discomfort manageable.
👉 How long does a tattoo take?
Small tattoos may take less than an hour, while larger or more detailed tattoos can require several hours or multiple sessions.
👉 Can I bring a friend?
Usually yes, although space may be limited depending on the day and artist. Your artist will let you know whether your friend can stay with you during the session or wait in the reception area.
👉 Can I use my phone during the tattoo?
Of course. Many clients listen to music, watch videos, read, or chat during their tattoo session. As long as it doesn’t interfere with the tattooing process.
Healing & Aftercare
👉 How long does a tattoo take to heal?
Most tattoos heal within 2-4 weeks, depending on the individual, the tattooing technique, and the style of tattoo.
👉 Is peeling normal?
Yes. Light peeling, flaking, dryness, and itching are all normal parts of the tattoo healing process.
👉 When can I go swimming after getting tattooed?
Avoid swimming pools, the sea, lakes, and hot tubs for at least 3 weeks or until the tattoo is fully healed.
👉 When can I go to the gym?
Light exercise is usually fine, but avoid excessive sweating, friction, pressure and excessive stretching on the tattoo during the first week of healing, at least.
👉 What tattoo cream should I use?
Your tattoo artist will recommend suitable aftercare products. Generally, we recommend Tattoomed Tattoo After Cream. If we don’t have it in stock, you can use a panthenol-based cream or pure coconut oil.
👉 What if I have concerns about healing?
Contact your tattoo artist directly. We are always happy to answer questions and help ensure your tattoo heals properly.

👉 Where is your tattoo studio located in Sofia?
White Rabbit Tattoo Studio is located in Sofia’s artsy quarter, in the Old City Centre. We are easily accessible via Serdika Metro Station (6-minute walk), Tram Lines 20 and 22 (3-minute walk), and Bus 9 (3-minute walk). We are also close to many cafés, bars, restaurants, parks, and major attractions such as Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (9-minute walk) and the National Ethnographic Museum (7-minute walk).

👉 Do your tattoo artists speak English?
Yes. All of our tattoo artists and team members speak English, making the process easy for international visitors, expats and tourists visiting Sofia. Some of us also speak Russian, French and Portuguese.

👉 Can tourists get tattooed in Sofia?
Absolutely. Many of our clients are travellers visiting Bulgaria who want a meaningful souvenir from their trip or who discover our artists while exploring Sofia.

Yes. We recommend contacting us to book an appointment, especially for bigger projects. For smaller tattoos and available artists, last-minute appointments may be possible.
👉 How far in advance should I book?
This depends on the artist and the size of the project. Some artists may have availability within days, while others can be booked several weeks or months ahead.
👉 Do you accept credit cards?
No. Most artists accept cash, while many also accept transfer to Revolut (no account needed) or PayPal.
👉 Can I get a tattoo consultation before booking?
